Spelling Competition
The 6th Annual Vermont Secondary College Spelling Competition was a hotly contested event between seventeen finalists on Monday evening, 14 April 2008.
Teachers and parents were impressed by the high standard of spelling, as difficult words such as “appreciative”, “picturesque” and “Mediterranean” proved to be an easy task.
We congratulate John G (Yr 8) who spelled his way to the title of Grand Champion Speller for 2008. All finalists were awarded a movie pass, while the Grand Champion prize was a 2GB IPod Shuffle. Thank you to all students, parents and teachers who have supported this worthwhile and enjoyable competition!
