VCE Results

Vermont Secondary College is one of the top rating government secondary colleges in Victoria as measured by The Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) scores. Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) results are significantly above State and 'Like' (similar demographics) school averages. School performance data can also be view from Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority and My School sites.

2011 VCE results:

  • students with a study score of 47 or more include Claire L (English 49, Physics 48, Chemistry 47), Caitlyn S (VCD 49, Outdoor & Environmental Studies 49), Tian Z (Further Maths 49), Bobby C (Maths Methods 47)
  • 15 students achieved an ATAR of 95+
  • 28 students achieved an ATAR over 90
  • 70 students achieved an ATAR over 80
  • 106 students achieved an ATAR above 70

2010 VCE results:

  • 7 students achieving a study score of 97+ (top 3% of state) including Pravin P K, Tony D, Samantha W, Tom C, Russell H, Juley T, Tiffany H
  • Claire L and Steven A received perfect 50 scores in Further Mathematics and Business Management respectively
  • 11 students achieving astudy score of 95+, 30 students achieving ATAR scores over 90 and a total of 61 students achieving ENTER scores over 80
  • 53.3% of our students (96 students) achieved a study score above 70

2009 VCE results:

  • 7 students achieving a study score of 97+ (top 3% of state); Raj K (99.55), Eugene C (98.90), Nick W (98.50), Navjot S (98.45), Christoph A (97.15), Pedram R (97.15), Sashi A (97.00)
  • Study score of 47+; Raj K (Indonesian 50, Chemistry 49), Aileen N (VCD 49), Eugene C (Maths Methods 47), Nick W (Chemistry 47), Navjot S (Further Maths 47)
  • 21 students achieving ENTER scores over 90
  • 55.7% of our students (106 students) achieved a study score above 70

2008 VCE results:

  • 24.5% (compared to State average 10%) of students receive an ENTER Score of 90 or higher
  • 42.9% (compared to State average 20%) of students receive an ENTER Score of 80 or higher
  • 13.4% (compared to State average 7%) of students with Study Scores of 40 (out of 50) or more
  • Median Study Score of 33
  • average subjects scores include Chemistry 37.2, Industry & Enterprise 37.7, IT Applications 36.3, Food & Technology 36.3, English Language 35.4, Specialist Mathematics 34.6, Psychology 34.5, Mathematical Methods 34.3
  • 7 students (3.50%) with scores over 99, 24 students (12%) over 95, 48 students (24%) over 90, 84 students (42%) over 80, 107 students (54%) over 70, 135 students (68%) over 60 and 157 students (78%) over 50
  • top 10 students were Mun Yee S (99.70), Lauren M (99.65), Wai L (99.50), Shi Qi C (99.20), Teresa G (99.20), Vei-Li H (99.15), Amanda C (99.00), Jaime L (98.65), Marie A (98.15) and Yen-Li H (97.60)
  • Amada C received perfect 50 score in Further Mathematics
  • Jarryd S received a VCE Premiers Award in Industry & Enterprise

2007 VCE results:

  • top 3% of the state: Kelly G (dux) - 98.85, Chris C - 97.65, Kawai N - 97.15.
  • 18 students achieving ENTER scores over 90
  • 8 students achieving scores over 95

2006 VCE results:

  • 3 students; June X (dux) - 99.85, Peter C - 99.45 and Jacqui P - 99.10 with scores over 99
  • top 2% of the state (ENTER scores 98 or above) were Caroline H, Frances B, Elise H, Jacqui P and Peter C
  • 2 students (Rose P in Psychology, Jacqui P in Further Mathematics) received perfect 50 scores
  • 1 student (Catherine W in Industry & Enterprise) received Premier's Award
  • 16 students with scores over 95
  • 33 students achieving ENTER scores over 90

2005 VCE results:

  • 40 students achieving ENTER scores over 90
  • 3 students achieving scores over 99
  • Sohrab H and Michael L were two equal (dux) students who both achieved ENTER scores of 99.95
  • Melanie K achieved ENTER score of 99.35
  • Jacob F, Scott M and Jason W were in the top 2% of the state
  • 3 perfect scores of 50 by Melanie K in Biology, Katharine R in Food and Technology and Jacob F in IPM
