The Department of Education and Training (DET) Framework for Improving Student Outcomes project includes school planning, comprising a four year School Strategic Plan which sets out the school’s strategic directions, and the Annual Implementation Plan. These plans describe how the key improvement strategies in the school strategic plan (or school charter) and other significant projects will be put into operation in each of the four years. The primary purpose of annual reporting is to inform parents and the wider school community of the school’s successes, activities and achievements throughout the year. The reports provide an opportunity to communicate and publicise the longer term directions for the school.
